Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).

Assist in the coordination of major case investigations by prioritizing collection of data, delegating assignments, conduct field and statistical research on potential and past crime targets.
Develop investigative leads by connecting seemingly disparate pieces of information and identifying potential suspects.
Use open source information, criminal intelligence information, and criminal justice information, respond to requests from local, state, federal, and private investigative leads, and report activities in support of ongoing investigations.
Support search warrant or major operations. Develop and prioritize problem areas, top offenders, crime projects, and recommend strategies regarding the allocations of resources.
Assist investigators, operations, and management personnel in planning the deployment of resources.
Gather and organize information related to specific criminal or administrative investigations and disseminate information effectively and efficiently.
Map crime, show correlations, and analyze crime-specific data. Monitor local, regional, and national crime trends. Conduct briefings and presentations.
Work with investigators, other analysts, and external agencies to share information and coordinate efforts.
Participate as a member in federal, state, and local law enforcement taskforces and partnerships. Conduct research, compile reports, and assist with various projects.
Provide written or oral testimony in court.
