About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the 355th Force Support Squadron at FamCamp at Davis Monthan AFB.

This position is Regular Full Time, meaning it guarantee's 35 hours with the eligibility of working up to 40.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience: Responsible experience which has demonstrated the ability to manage business activities.

May have been gained in an operating, administrative or managerial positions which included responsibility for various phases of operations, such as equipment and supply accountability, financial management, or planning organization of club activities.

The experience must have provided a knowledge of accounting and financial planning principles and procedures.

Successful completion and favorable adjudication of a Tier 1 (T1) background investigation is required.

Incumbent must be able to work other than normal duty hours which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

The ability to obtain and maintain a valid state drivers' license is required due to the operation of a government vehicle for official travel away from duty station in accomplishing duties.

This position is designated as drug testing position (TDP) due to the driving requirement IAW AFI 90-508.

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Major Duties:

Oversees business operations for FamCamp.

In coordination with the ODR manager, sets long-range plans, goals, yearly program plans, and objectives for FamCamp, that integrate higher headquarters policies with local installation and squadron needs.

Formulates, justifies, and executes nonappropriated funds (NAF) budget for FamCamp operations and sends to ODR Manager for concurrence.

Maintains an accurate account of daily sales revenue, operational funds, fixed assets, and property. Prepares daily paperwork, collects cash, receipts, and other supporting documentation.

Makes purchases for FamCamp activity and holds the NAF Purchase Card (PCard) for FamCamp. Harvests coins from laundry room and doggy wash stations.

Procures and/or initiates procurement documents for supplies and equipment. Assures the maintenance and repair of facility and equipment.

Drives through FamCamp grounds to inspect sites and ensures facility buildings and amenities are in proper working order. Prepares and submits Civil Engineering (CE) work order requests as required.

Supervises personnel assigned to FamCamp operations.

Assigns, directs and reviews the work of subordinate employees; plans and carries out the training and development of employees; evaluates employee work performance; recommends selections, and disciplinary actions; plans schedules, and coordinates work operations, explains management policies.

Deals effectively with employees on complaints, grievances, and other matters involved in the day-to-day administration of the FamCamp Program.

Interacts with FamCamp customers and rectifies any complaints or issues, promptly and courteously. Responds to ICE customer comment cards when requested to give feedback from leadership.
