Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-11. Advanced degree + significant experience.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves managing and supporting facility services contracts for the Navy, including planning projects, leading teams, and ensuring everything stays on budget and schedule in complex locations.
It focuses on creating technical documents, evaluating bids, and working with stakeholders to meet facility needs.
A good fit would be someone with experience in government contracting or project management who enjoys leading teams and handling detailed procurement processes.
You will serve as a FACILITY SERVICES SPECIALIST of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND ATLANTIC.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing technical support across a wide range of FMFS functions, including programming, planning, preparation and execution of Facilities Services Contracts.
Experience on Source Selection Technical Evaluation Teams, Price Evaluation Teams, Ability One Program negotiation teams, and Source Selection Board.
Experience leading project teams and mentoring junior PMs in the completion of the PWS, Independent Government Estimate (IGE).
Experience answering RFIs, and providing technical support during source selection. Experience planning and conducting site visits and fieldwork for PWS development.
Experience conducting requirements reviews with key stakeholders,and coordinating PWS draft reviews and final customer signoffs.
