Full Job Description

You will serve as a FACILITY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST of NAVAL STA NT RI.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience managing the workflow of facility maintenance projects.

Experience utilizing knowledge of maintenance, repair, construction techniques; and facilities management, maintenance planning, acquisition, and/or contracting processes.

Experience analyzing and evaluating requirements and work order requests for repair maintenance and construction submitted by clients.

Experience utilizing knowledge of cost estimating, cost analysis techniques and formats to prepare and evaluate alternatives. Experience reading and understanding contract plans and specifications.

  • You will update management on facility condition issues and work efforts being accomplished for facilities.
  • You will identify potential problem areas, recommend solutions and initiate timely corrective actions.
  • You will input purchase requests for services for all emergent work and requirements as necessary.
  • You will provide quality control to ensure work orders are closed and cancelled in Maximo.
  • You will attend pre-construction conference briefs, quality assessment meetings, and final inspections for acceptance of final product.
