This role involves supporting the Chief Deputy in a state department focused on probation, parole, and pardons by managing daily operations, coordinating projects, handling budgets, and scheduling appointments.
The person acts as a representative when dealing with staff, officials, agencies, and the public while keeping sensitive information secure.
It's a good fit for someone organized and experienced in administrative work who can communicate well and handle confidential matters discreetly.
Under limited supervision of the Chief Deputy, responsible for the management and coordination of the Executive Division to include planning and coordination of activities, specialized projects, budget preparation, and calendar appointments.
Acts on behalf of the Chief Deputy with department staff, public officials, government agencies, and the general public.
Safeguard confidential information in line with company policy and legal requirements.
A high school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration or administrative services. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for required work experience.

Ability to communicate effectively, exercise judgement, and discretion in interpreting and applying agency practices, policies and procedures.
Ability to effectively and courteously interact with the public.
