Summary
This job involves driving and operating trucks and light equipment to maintain and build county roads and city projects in Tarrant County, Texas.
Workers handle tasks like transporting materials, controlling traffic at sites, and performing basic equipment upkeep.
It's a good fit for someone with hands-on experience in construction or maintenance who is physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather.
Key Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (or 4 additional years of related experience as substitute)
- Minimum of one year of related experience in equipment operation or road maintenance
- Valid Class C driver's license required upon hire
- Class A CDL with tanker endorsement required within eight months of hire
- Ability to perform physical tasks including stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 100 pounds
- Willingness to work in extreme heat, cold, and exposure to hazardous chemicals

Operate equipment involved in the maintenance and construction of County roads and city projects.Requirements
1. Operates and/or drives truck or light equipment.
2. Performs road maintenance or construction related duties while operating equipment.
3. May transport equipment and supplies.
4. Controls traffic flow at work site.
5. Performs routine maintenance on equipment or trucks and reports needed repairs.
6. Performs all other related duties as assigned.
