This job involves operating heavy machinery like bulldozers and dump trucks to maintain and build trails, roads, and facilities in Pennsylvania's Moshannon State Forest.
You'll spend your days outdoors, fixing equipment, doing hands-on repairs, and keeping safety records up to date.
It's a great fit for someone who loves physical work in nature and has experience handling big vehicles and tools.

As an Equipment Operator B, your primary duty is to safely operate heavy equipment and vehicles while conducting maintenance, repair, and construction projects throughout the Moshannon Forest District.
This includes the operation of equipment such as graders, backhoes, bulldozers, high-lifts, and front end loaders, in addition to the operation of vehicles with a gross weight of 32,001 pounds or more, such as dump trucks, tankers, and tractor trailers.
Assignments will entail general maintenance duties within the grounds and facilities, as well as performing preventative maintenance, making repairs, and servicing equipment.
In addition to operating machinery, you will also be required to perform manual tasks using hand tools and portable power tools.
Detailed records of pre-trip safety inspections and driver's logs will also need to be accurately maintained.
