Key Requirements

- Substitution: Bachelor's degree in biology, physical, behavioral, or natural sciences plus two years of paid epidemiology experience
- Alternative substitution: Master's in Mathematics, or Bachelor's in Mathematics plus two years of epidemiology or data collection/assessment experience
- Experience in data management, surveillance, analysis, evaluation, and reporting for public health programs
- Ability to design surveys and data collection instruments, present data at local/state/national levels, and represent the program on committees

The Maternal Risk Screening Epidemiologist is responsible for the data management, surveillance, analysis, evaluation and reporting for the statewide Maternal Risk Screening Program. This position processes all data requests for the MRS Program, designs surveys, data collection instruments, present data at local, state and national level; represent the program on various committees; makes recommendations based on epidemiological findings; and serves as a data contact on evaluation studies for the program.

Qualifications
Training: Master's degree in epidemiology, public health, biology, physical, behavioral, natural, or veterinary sciences from an accredited college or university.OR
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with state licensure and three years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in conducting epidemiology.
Substitution: Bachelor's degree in biology, physical, behavioral,
