The Department of Environmental Protection is seeking a dedicated professional to serve as an Environmental Protection Compliance Specialist.
In this role, you will help ensure adherence to the rules, regulations, and policies that safeguard public health and Pennsylvania’s natural resources.

As an Environmental Protection Compliance Specialist, you will carry out compliance assistance activities within the oil and gas program, monitor and assess regulatory adherence, and support the development of formal enforcement actions.
Your work will include evaluating compliance and enforcement efforts within an assigned area, ensuring accurate data entry, and preparing detailed reports with recommendations based on your findings.
You will also play a key role in providing training and technical guidance to field staff, the regulated community, and the public on applicable rules, regulations, policies, and enforcement strategies.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Pittsburgh. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
