This job involves leading a team of engineers focused on the Vertical Launching System for Navy ships, handling technical challenges, overseeing projects, and coordinating with various teams to ensure everything meets military standards.

You will serve as a Vertical Launching System (VLS) Equipment Engineering Branch, Engineering Lead (Code E52) in the SENSORS WEAPONS & LAUNCHERS DEPARTMENT, VERTICAL LAUNCHING SYSTEM (VLS) & AUR DIVISION of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, located in Port Hueneme, CA.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-03 (GS-09/11 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional Engineer resolving complex engineering challenges for shipboard Vertical Launching Systems (VLS) to provide technical support and system solutions.
