This job involves working as an electrical engineer on naval gun weapon systems, focusing on designing, integrating, testing, and maintaining the electrical parts to ensure they work reliably in military applications.
You'll collaborate with teams to troubleshoot issues, update project leaders on progress, and present designs to decision-makers.

This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-4 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 and GS-13.
You will serve as an Electrical Engineer in the Integrated Engagement Systems Department, Gun Weapon Systems Division, Gun Weapon Systems Mechanical Design Branch (Code E34) of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-3 pay band (GS-9 through GS-11 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional engineer applying electrical engineering principles to conduct research, development and evaluation of weapon systems.
