In this position, you will for answering calls and emails regarding the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) policy, eligibility, and procedures.
Duties include providing technical assistance on the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Access to Social Services (COMPASS) website and MyCOMPASS PA mobile application to those applying for LIHEAP online.
Additionally, you will connect citizens to other community resources that may assist or supplement available services when a household is not eligible for LIHEAP, has exhausted their LIHEAP benefit, or has an extraordinary need that we cannot meet This is a full-time, seasonal position, typically lasting 6 to 8 months during the fall and winter seasons, designed to support clients wishing to apply for heating assistance.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: This position may be eligible to telework part time after successful completion of probationary period.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
