THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, Position Description Number D2225P01 and is part of the 105TH AW, National Guard.
This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants. Military Grades: Enlisted SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 1 year equivalent to at least next lower grade level.
Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.
To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.
Developing, coordinating, obtaining approval, and publishing plans and procedures for implementation of wing policies and instructions relating to Emergency Management (EM).
Develops, updates, and coordinates the Wing Emergency Management Plan (IEMP) 10-2. Major Duties:
As an EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (GS-0089-11) you will develop, review, coordinate and execute the wing's Emergency Management (EM) program plan in support of DOD, Joint Service, Air Force, MAJCOM, ANG, Numbered Air Force, federal, state, and county plans in the area(s) of Prevention, Protection, Mitigation, Response, and Recovery.
The position develops, manages and executes the wing EM programs, ensuring effective prevention, protection, mitigation, response, and recovery operations to allow continued mission capability at the wing level.
