This job involves leading a team of 14 to 20 workers in a naval shipyard's electronic shop, where you'll plan schedules, assign tasks, and ensure high-quality repairs on electronic measurement equipment.
It's a hands-on supervisory role focused on keeping operations running smoothly in a busy production environment.
A good fit would be someone with strong leadership experience in technical trades, especially electronics or mechanics, who enjoys organizing teams and checking work details.
You will serve as a ELECTRONIC MEASUREMENT EQUIPMENT MECHANIC SUPERVISOR I in the PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPT, ELECTRONIC SHOP (CODE 950) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.
Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.
