This job opportunity is for an ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC, position description D0872P01, within the AASF-1 of the New Jersey Army National Guard.
This vacancy announcement is a Title 32, Excepted Service position.
It's purpose is to inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair and modify software controlled automated and manually controlled test stations, General Experience: Must have the following experience(s): Removing and replacing aircraft parts, accessories, and components Making adjustments and settings according to established specifications Using hand tools and test equipment Specialized Experience: Must have 18 months of the following experience(s): Installing, adjusting, aligning, troubleshooting Functionally testing the various major and minor mechanical and pneudraulic systems on an aircraft during overhaul or modification Coordinating the work of other mechanics Scheduling maintenance to ensure completion of critical actions and optimum workflow Instructing lower graded mechanics, military and other personnel in the disassembly and re-assembly of crash damaged engines Major Duties:
As an ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC, WG-2610-12, you will: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on one or more multi-complex electronic integrated systems Maintain, modify, calibrate, and inspect a wide variety of user test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment Troubleshoot operational malfunctions and analyze system performance utilizing aircrew debrief data, Technical Orders, schematic and wiring diagrams.
Recommend methods to improve equipment performance, technical data, and maintenance procedures Apply technical data and equipment specifications to determine the impact that equipment modifications or substitutions will have upon integrated multi-system operations and various maintenance alignment procedures.
