Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves working as an electrical engineer for the Navy, focusing on designing, testing, and maintaining electronic systems for submarines and similar equipment.
You'll troubleshoot issues, coordinate projects, and write technical reports to ensure everything runs smoothly and meets deadlines.

GS-11: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience or knowledge with electronic submarine or similar systems, operating principles, component functions and testing requirements.
Experience resolving emergent problems that may delay project completion. Experience planning and executing assignments and projects to meet overall objectives.
Experience to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing GS-12: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
