Summary
This job involves answering phone calls from voters and election staff, providing helpful information on voting eligibility, procedures, and polling places, while routing calls and tracking issues in a busy call center.
It's a temporary role during election season in Austin, Texas, ideal for friendly, organized people who enjoy helping others and can stay calm under pressure.
Bilingual speakers in English and Spanish are especially needed, and no prior experience is required since training is provided.

Full Job Description
These informative and friendly workers answer inbound calls from the general public and election workers. They provide information about voter eligibility, assist election workers with voting procedures and help voters locate polling locations. They route calls to appropriate staff members, identify and escalate priority issues and track the nature of their calls. They must have excellent written and oral communication skills and possess the ability to organize and alphabetize. Training will be provided. Bilingual (English and Spanish) skilled workers needed. Past experience in a call center, customer service, dispatcher, elections processes or training preferred but not required. Must pass a criminal background check. The pay is $20.00 per hour.This is a Temporary/Seasonal position.
