The Division of Elections is currently accepting applications for a Temporary Election Publication Assistant in the Anchorage Region II Office.

This is a full-time, temporary position beginning in the spring and continuing through mid-November.

While this position is not eligible for health insurance or PERS benefits, it does participate in the Alaska Supplemental Annuity Plan (SBS), which serves as an alternative to Social Security contributions.

Please note that overtime will be required during the peak election season.


What You Will Be Doing:

The Alaska Division of Elections is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented temporary Publication Assistant to help support the assembly of the state’s Ballot Measure Pamphlet and Official Election Pamphlet.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, energetic, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Strong computer skills and attention to detail are important in this role, as you will assist with preparing and reviewing materials used in statewide elections.

At times, this position may involve working under tight deadlines, so strong time-management and prioritization skills are essential.

We are looking for someone who can stay organized and focused as workload demands increase, ensuring all materials are completed accurately and delivered on schedule.
