This job is for a registered dietitian at Rainier School, a center that supports people with developmental disabilities, where you'll assess nutritional needs, create personalized meal plans, and ensure proper diet through therapy and monitoring.
It's a full-time role with a standard Monday-to-Friday schedule, offering some telework and on-site premium pay.
Ideal candidates are compassionate professionals with a background in dietetics who enjoy working in a team to improve residents' health and well-being.
Rainier School (habilitation center) is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our team of professionals who provide services to people who have developmental disabilities.
This full-time permanent role has a work schedule of 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday, with weekends off.
We’re happy to offer a balance of in-office connection and telework flexibility as business needs allow. Opportunities performed on-site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary.
Pierce County employees are eligible to receive an Orca Card for transportation needs.Our direct care and support staff provide 24-hour nursing care, a full spectrum of clinical and therapeutic programs, and recreation/activities to empower our clients.
You'll work with our clients, formulate menus, provide special preparation needs, deliver medical nutritional therapy, and direct others in professional administrative dietetic services.
Some of what you will do
Who should apply:
Those with a bachelor's or master’s degree involving a major study in Food and Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited dietetics program.
And
Registration as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), or eligible for registration at the time of hire, and ability to pass the registration examination within one year of the date of hire.
