Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves visiting clients at home to assess their needs, creating care plans to help them stay in the community instead of institutions, and managing cases for elderly or disabled people in Washington state.

This opportunity will serve in the Tacoma, WA area. We have multiple permanent opportunities. Some of what you will do:

Who should apply?
Professionals with one year of experience as a Social Service Specialist 2.
Or,
A master’s degree in social services, human services, behavioral sciences, criminal law/justice or an allied field and one years of paid social service experience equivalent to a Social Service Specialist 2.
Or,
A bachelor’s degree in social services, human services, behavioral sciences, criminal law/justice or an allied field, and two years of paid social service experience performing functions equivalent to a Social Service Specialist 2.
Or,
Six years of paid social service experience performing functions equivalent to a Social Service Specialist 2.
Note: A two-year Master's degree in one of the above fields that included a practicum will be substituted for one year of paid social service experience.
Note: Employees must successfully complete the formal training course sponsored by their division within one year of their appointment.
This job will require travel to meet business needs. A telework and/or flex work schedule may be considered after training is completed. Starting salary depends on your qualifications. Interested?
