The Department of Social and Health Services - Finance, Technology & Analytics Administration is seeking an experienced and dynamic Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join– Division of Information Technology (DIT) Quality Assurance team.
The QA Team is responsible for validation and approval of coding changes for a large complex of eligibility systems that administer cash, food and medical assistance to the residents of Washington State.
The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) is involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirement analysis and design definition, coding, testing and deployment.
The ideal candidate will combine strong software development expertise with a passion for quality assurance and automation. As an SDET, you will make decisions on automation testing methods and tools.
Your role will be critical in ensuring quality is embedded into every stage of product development. This project is anticipated to last until June 2027.
