Columbia, Montour, Snyder and Union (CMSU) Counties, Department of Human Services, Division of Drug and Alcohol has an immediate opening for a highly organized Drug and Alcohol Case Management Specialist Trainee.
We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate individual willing to provide case management services to clients with drug and alcohol issues.

In this Trainee role, you will receive instruction on completing assessments on all drug and alcohol clients referred to the CMSU Base Service Unit and determining appropriate level of care based on assessment.
You will be trained on facilitating the referral process to the treatment provider, developing a comprehensive service plan to address all need areas, and linking client with available community resources.
You will learn to maintain a caseload, monitor client treatment progress and conduct follow-up services.
Within this role, it is essential to maintain all client records and perform work in accordance with established policy and procedures.
