Summary

This job is for a high-level leader in managing government building leases, where you'll guide teams, set policies, and ensure efficient real estate operations for federal agencies.

Full Job Description

As a Supervisory Realty Specialist you will provide key input to the development of business policies, practices, and performance metrics in support of the Division.

Location of position: Public Buildings Service, Office of Leasing. Positions may be filled in any of the locations listed.

We are currently filling two vacancies, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

The GS-15 salary range starts at $150,359 per year. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level or higher in the Federal service.

Specialized experience is experience that demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of Federal real property lease policy, program management, and leading teams managing leases with over $3 million in annual rent.

This includes planning and directing the application of lease policies/procedures to meet goals, and advising on policy/procedure application.

Experience must cover complex Federal real property lease policy and program management initiatives with a multidisciplinary team in at least two of the following: 1) Client Customer Relationships; 2) Financial Management and Analysis; 3) Program Management and Team Leadership or 4) Technology Management.

Major Duties:

Provides leadership, guidance, assistance, and advice on current procedures and practices to internal customers and external stakeholders.

Establishes national policies and guidelines to direct, support, and achieve program performance goals.

Analyzes pressing issues and makes procedural recommendations to management officials in formulating decisions regarding changing responsibilities or business needs, as well as in the design/development and evaluation of ongoing and/or new program issues.

Coaches lower level associates in identifying the parameters of effective, efficient resolution; assists associates in developing performance measures for evaluating program areas such as effectiveness in meeting management goals and level of customer satisfaction; communicates success in meeting performance goals, evaluates customer assessments and reports progress to the supervisor.

Provides expert technical advice on specific tasks, furnishing written instructions, reference materials and relevant background material to associates; maintains current knowledge and answers questions from associates on procedures, policies and directives, resolves major problems and arbitrates issues that arise.
