This job involves leading the management of Utah's transportation department's equipment fleet, from buying and maintaining vehicles to ensuring everything runs efficiently across the state.
You'll make big-picture decisions on budgets and strategies while working closely with teams in different regions to keep operations smooth and cost-effective.
It's a great fit for someone with strong leadership experience in logistics or fleet management who enjoys blending office planning with occasional hands-on fieldwork.
Work EnvironmentWorking Conditions - While the typical risks are those of an office setting, which is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated, e.g., there will be field work.Physical Requirements: Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however, there may be some field work which may include walking; standing; bending; carrying light items; driving an automobile, etc.
