Job Description

Summary

This role at the National Gallery of Art involves supporting fundraising efforts by managing donor communications, tracking financial data, and leading teams in prospect research and analytics to help secure private funding for museum programs.

It focuses on improving operations in a nonprofit setting to enhance donor engagement and reporting.

The Development Office is responsible for securing private financial support to sustain and expand the Gallery's exhibitions, educational initiatives, conservation efforts, and other programs that advance the National Gallery of Art's mission.

Duties for this position include Supports the operation team's ability to track and report on the Development department's financial successes, including tracking revenue, forecasting and expenditures.

Leads DD-DEV's donor communications strategy and workstreams by defining processes and implementing best practices for managing high-quality and efficient production of digital and written donor communications.

Manages strategy and workstreams of teams responsible for prospect research, analytics and reporting that have significant impact on portfolio management, performance/metrics tracking and financial reporting.

Works with Gallery and DD-DEV leadership on special projects and campaigns, serving as a project lead for initiatives where systems and communications
