Summary

This senior leadership role involves directing national counterintelligence efforts to protect the U.S.

from foreign threats, managing teams of experts, and coordinating with government agencies to set priorities and resolve issues.

Full Job Description

The mission of the National Counterintelligence & Security Center is to lead and support the U.S.

Government's counterintelligence (CI) and security activities critical to protecting our nation; provide CI outreach to U.S.

private sector entities at risk of foreign intelligence penetration; and issue public warnings regarding intelligence threats to the U.S.

Superior ability to manage strategic and tactical level topics, and develop innovative recommendations and solutions for improvement. Major Duties:

Oversee, lead and represent IC Mission Management for the Counterintelligence Community, including Intelligence Community Directives to identify and fill collection gaps, identify and satisfy analytic needs, set priorities, and identify resource needs.

Assists in leading and managing the National Counterintelligence Officers, their Deputies, and their Advisors, including allocating tasks; reviewing material; and hiring, evaluating, and developing personnel.

Lead and support briefings to senior IC officials and other major stakeholders' collaboration progress, issues and challenges.

Manage and lead counterparts on coordination issues to ensure effective implementation flagship collaboration initiatives.

Manage and oversee, guide, and monitor the governance structures to ensure decisions are made through the appropriate fora and disputes are resolved expeditiously.

Oversee ranking and prioritizing of competing requirements. Other duties, as assigned.
