In this position, you will assist a dentist chairside during dental procedures, charting findings as instructed and ensuring that all necessary tools and materials are readily available.
You will prepare workspaces, materials, and tools for procedures, as well as mix cements and other solutions.
Responsibilities include exposing and processing patient radiographs; taking impressions of teeth for study models, diagnostic casts, and athletic appliances; and pouring, trimming, and assessing the quality of diagnostic casts.
Other crucial duties will include managing appointment scheduling, maintaining call lists, and handling the filing and retrieval of dental records and reports.
Additionally, you will provide patients with explanations of preventative care and post-procedural instructions
