Base salary range: $88,520 - $115,079

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves working as a senior data expert in the US Indo-Pacific Command, where you'll analyze large amounts of complex data to help improve military operations and decision-making.
You'll lead teams, create data tools and frameworks, and advise leaders on using data effectively.

You will serve as a Data Scientist in the Command Data Office (CDO) of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Data Scientist experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying a broad range of data analysis, mathematics, statistical analysis, modeling/simulation, or other scientific concepts, principles, standards, methods, techniques, practices, and procedures; 2) Working with large and complex data sets to perform extensive analysis of volumes of data through macros and pivot tables; 3) Designing and delivering frameworks to facilitate data development; 4) Using various data integration services and data visualization tools to accurately represent data.
