Requirements

This position plays a key role in advancing the Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs through data-informed quality improvement initiatives. The individual will support efforts to strengthen program performance, enhance service delivery, and promote accountability across the substance use and gambling service system.

Using structured approaches to evaluate and refine workflows, the individual will help build internal and external processes and provide technical assistance based on data-driven outcomes and analysis. This work will also inform proposed changes to systems, laws, regulations, and requirements and is aimed to improve outcomes and strengthen overall system efficiency. This position requires independent responsibility while rooted in close collaboration with internal and external partners.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time.

    In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

    If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Two (2) years of professional experience in a social services agency providing direct social services, case management services, program planning, program monitoring, program evaluation, allied health services, or quality assurance services; and a bachelor's degree in the behavioral sciences, public health or human services administration, or a closely related field.

Graduate course work in the behavioral sciences, public health or human services administration may be substituted for up to one year of the required experience. or

  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training which includes two (2) years of professional experience in a social services agency providing direct social services, case management services, program planning, program monitoring, program evaluation, allied health services, or quality assurance services and 24 college level credits in the behavioral sciences, public health or human services administration.

  • Other Requirements:

    • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
