This position is located at Child and Youth Services (CYS), Fort Campbell, KY.
Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Child and Youth Services (CYS) Employee Childcare Fee applicable to employees working at least 15 hours per week: First Child: 100% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Second and Subsequent Child: 25% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: (QUAL 1) Successful completion of a 4 year college or university degree with a major course of study or substantial course work which directly relates to a CYS field: early childhood, elementary, secondary, special education, child and youth development, psychology, youth program administration or a closely related field.
OR (QUAL 2) A combination of education and experience.
Successful completion of at least 24 semester hours in a major course of study in education or a field appropriate to education, plus appropriate work experience that provided knowledge skills and abilities directly related to the duties described.
In addition to the requirements mentioned above (QUAL 1 or QUAL 2) candidates must possess the following: 1.
Demonstrated twelve (12) months work experience in at least two (2) CYS program types (FCC, SAS, etc.) that included management of a child or youth program.
The work experience must have been equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level. 2.
Knowledge of management analysis, personnel development, and APF and NAF funding and oversight relationship to CYS programs. 3.
Ability to plan and organize work, analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data and recognize solutions. 4.
Comprehensive oral and communications skills and analytical writing skills, and the ability to present ideas and proposals to a variety of audiences..
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Applicants with experience in the following areas may be considered Highly Preferred and sent to management first for consideration.
Highly Preferred candidates will possess the following: Minimum one (1) year experience as a CYS Administrator or CYS Coordinator with oversight of multiple Child Development Centers (CDC's).
