This job is for an assistant in child welfare services, helping case managers support families and children facing abuse, neglect, or other challenges by handling tasks like transporting kids to appointments, documenting activities, and engaging with families empathetically.

The Child Welfare Services Case Worker Assistant, under supervision of the assigned caseworker, provides services to remedy abuse, neglect, exploitations or self-neglect of adults or children unable to protect themselves.
CWS Case Manager Assistant will assist CWS Case Manager's with providing casework services in the area of Assessment, Family Preservation and Foster Care.
A High School Diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of relevant experience in clerical, administrative, social work, correctional, business, business administration, or general business.
An Associate or Bachelor's Degree may be substituted for part or all of work experience.This application for employment with the SC Department of Social Services must be completed in its entirety.
