DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSMunicipal Courts currently has full-time employment opportunities available for Customer Service Representatives in their Court Operations Division who are self-motivated, customer service oriented, pay attention to detail, and possess strong organizational skills. As an official of the Court, your responsibilities may include the following:
- Interface with law enforcement officials for the verification of warrants and notifications.
- High level of direct contact with the general public, attorneys, court staff and law enforcement.
- Processing of bond forfeitures and administrative duties related to bond administration
- Data entry of incoming citations.
- Quality review and updating of data and scanned documents
- Scanning of court documents into Court’s Case Management System.
- Must be willing to submit to annual background checks.
- Other administrative and customer service-related responsibilities as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONSGeneral office setting. May require long periods of standing or sitting at a computer terminal and interacting with citizens in person and also by telephone. Must be able to work weekends and/or holidays as needed. Must be able to travel to another court location on short notice.

Requirements
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSRequires a high school diploma or a GED.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSSix (6) months of administrative or customer service related experience is required.
Substitution: An Associate’s degree may be substituted for up to two years of experience.
LICENSE REQUIREMENTSNone
Qualifications
Preferences will be given to candidates with heavy customer service experience; prior court, legal or paralegal experience as well as knowledge of court policies and procedures is a plus. Experience in Windows and Microsoft office environment (Word, Excel, Outlook)
