This temporary custodian job at the Hult Center for the Performing Arts in Eugene involves keeping the venue clean and tidy by doing everyday cleaning tasks, light repairs, and some outdoor upkeep, especially to support events that happen any day of the week.
It's a part-time role with flexible hours based on event needs, paying $19 per hour.
A good fit would be someone reliable and physically able who enjoys hands-on work in a busy performing arts setting and doesn't mind varied schedules.

The City of Eugene is recruiting for a pool of interested candidates to perform custodial duties at the Hult Center for the Performing Arts.
The Hult Center Custodian maintains clean and orderly facilities, equipment, and vehicles at the Hult Center by performing janitorial duties, small-scale building maintenance, and occasional minor grounds keeping.
This will be a part-time position to support events that may occur seven days a week.

Must pass a physical assessment and drug test.
License
Valid Oregon driver’s license [or, the ability to obtain by date of hire]; must pass driving records check and, if hired, maintain a driving record that meets the City’s standard.
Oregon law requires that an out-of-state license holder must obtain a valid Oregon license (with appropriate endorsements) within 30 days of becoming domiciled in the state (ORS 803.355).

Working Conditions
Work in this class is done generally in an office environment. Some assignments may include working outdoors.
Requires constant standing and walking with frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting. Constant use of hands and arms and may require overhead reaching.
Frequently required to lift up to 35 pounds, occasional lifting up to 36-60 lbs. Work includes operating a variety of tools and equipment that may require additional and advanced training.
Exposure to moving equipment, dust fumes, electric shock, toxic/caustic chemicals and biological hazards. Duties may be performed in a closed facility and/or around the public and during public events.
Required to work around and respond to difficult and confrontational situations and individuals. May require working at heights.
Safety equipment, including shoes, gloves and eye protection are required.
