Job Duties:

The CSS Case Manager Supervisor administer and direct Case Management and Interstate Central Registry (ICR) for the Child Support Services Division (CSSD).

Oversee the operations of the Case Management/Case Initiation Unit and ICR ensuring efficient case processing, optimal resource utilization, and compliance with organizational policies and standards for delivering high-quality services.


  • Manage and coordinate the daily activities of Case Management and ICR staff to ensure that cases are processed for all 46 counties and resolved timely; provide guidance and support to staff to promote accuracy and compliance in Case Management and ICR: track and report on case activity metrics to ensure performance standards are met.

  • Implement policies effectively, providing guidance and training to ensure compliance and understanding among team members; serve as a resource for resolving policy-related issues and providing clarification to staff; work closely with leadership to align policies with organizational goals.

  • Manage the intake of cases, ensuring all applications are accurately received, completed correctly and efficiently, while maintaining data integrity and confidentiality; monitor the application upload process within the Palmetto Automated Child Support System (PACSS) to verify that applications and case information are properly reflected.

  • Serve as an expert resource, providing guidance and support to staff on difficult cases and procedural questions; Monitor escalated cases to ensure timely follow-up and satisfactory outcomes; document case details, actions taken, and resolutions accurately in PACSS.

  • Assist in the on-boarding and training of new team members; conduct or facilitate refresher training sessions for seasoned employees to update knowledge and reinforce best practices. Develop training materials, resources, and documentation to support effective learning.

  • Serve as a liaison between departments to promote communication, resolve conflicts, and streamline processes; participate in cross-department meetings to align goals, share updates, and coordinate initiatives.

  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all regulatory and organizational standards when managing sensitive cases; identify patterns or recurring issues in escalated cases and recommend improvements to processes or policies.

  • Ensure Personal Identifying Information (PII) is properly used, accessed, gathered, shared and disposed of. Protect the agency networks and applications by safeguarding systems, equipment and data.

  • Perform Red Cross Shelter duty or other emergency shelter duty/services as directed. Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree and three (3) years of professional experience in social services programs, correctional, education, business administration, general administrative management or relevant program experience.

A Master's Degree and one (1) year of professional experience in social services programs, correctional, education, business administration, general administrative management or relevant program experience.
