Summary

This role supports the credentialing process for healthcare professionals at a military medical center, involving verification of qualifications, ensuring compliance with rules, and managing renewals and appointments.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes the management of a Credentials Review and Privileging Program for licensed or credentialed healthcare professionals assisting with reviewing and verifying credentialed or privileged personnel ensuring compliance with all protocols, laws and regulations to include proper granting, renewal, modification and appointment for all healthcare providers assigned or employed.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).

Major Duties:

  • Advise top medical center leadership on the integration of Systems Redesign principles to support strategic organizational goals.
  • Navigate organizational processes with various service lines to facilitate the implementation of improvement projects.
  • Prepare administrative reports and documents to support the management of the Systems Redesign program
  • Maintain records of work accomplishments and other program data to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Develop written guidelines and correspondence to communicate program information to staff and stakeholders.
  • Deploy advanced data analysis techniques to provide stakeholders with actionable insights for performance improvement.
  • Translate customer requirements into data-driven project charters that define the scope and goals of improvement initiatives.
  • Provide expert consultation and technical assistance to service lines and leadership to resolve complex systems issues.
