Job Description
Summary
This role as a Cover Support Officer at the Defense Intelligence Agency involves providing support for covert operations, engaging with clients on complex issues, and making strategic recommendations to meet intelligence needs while ensuring compliance with laws and guidelines.
It requires strong organizational skills, knowledge of defense intelligence missions, and the ability to use research tools for effective decision-making.
A good fit would be someone with experience in counterintelligence or cover activities, a commitment to teamwork and integrity, and ideally training in sensitive support operations.
Key Requirements
- Engage clients on routine to complex issues to meet organizational needs
- Plan, organize, prioritize, and schedule work for timely completion
- Develop effective recommendations for complex or sensitive situations with strategic impact
- Knowledge of DoD/IC missions, laws, statutes, directives, and guidelines for CI and Cover activities
- Use collaborative research and tools to provide definitive recommendations on CI and Cover Support
- Graduate of JCITA Foundations of Sensitive Support or equivalent (highly desired)
- Experience developing, implementing, and managing cover, cover support, and sponsorship for DoD organizations (highly desired)

Describes DoD/IC mission and objectives, applicable laws, statutes, orders, directives, treaties, agreements, procedures, and/or guidelines for conducting CI and/or Cover activities in work products or during mission execution.
5. Uses collaborative research and tools to make definitive recommendations on how to satisfy CI and/or Cover Support Requirements. HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS 1.
Graduate of JCITA Foundations of Sensitive Support, or equivalent. 2. Experience developing, implementing, and managing cover, cover support, and cover sponsorship for DoD and other organizations. 3.
Multiple Counterintelligence and Cover Support related assignments. Major Duties:
