We are seeking multiple individuals who bring energy, professionalism, and a strong sense of responsibility to join our team.
These positions are the heart of courtroom operations and play a critical role in keeping everything running smoothly across all levels of the Trial Court.
Under the guidance of In-Court Supervisors, you’ll be responsible for capturing high-quality written and electronic records of court proceedings and supporting judges, jurors, attorneys, and the public in a wide variety of ways.
In the courtroom, you’ll be setting the stage—literally! You’ll organize the courtroom each day, test and operate various audio and visual equipment, and troubleshoot anything that goes sideways.
You’ll call the court to order, administer oaths, log proceedings in real time using electronic recording systems, and help manage exhibits with care and accuracy.
You’ll coordinate jurors and occasionally take on bailiff duties, guiding everyone with a calm and professional demeanor.
Outside the courtroom, your work is just as important.
You’ll finalize and organize case files, process orders and judgments, safely store exhibits, and ensure that everything flows to the right departments.
You’ll help maintain courtroom materials like statutes and codes, assist other divisions when needed, and even travel to offsite locations or jail courts when required.
Flexibility is key, and you should be prepared for occasional overtime.
The Work Hours
Full-time court employees are currently scheduled to work 37.5 hours per week. The work hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break.

Graduation from high school or completion of a General Education Development (GED) certificate AND one year of office clerical experience AND the ability to keyboard at least 40 words per minute (net).
Substitution:
Additional office clerical work experience will substitute for the high school diploma or GED certificate on a month-for-month basis.
Completion of 36 semester credit hours or 48 quarter credit hours of coursework from an accredited college will substitute for the year of required office clerical experience.
Completion of an appropriate vocational training course of study such as legal secretary, paralegal, or office skills will substitute for the required office clerical experience on a month-for-month basis.

KEYBOARDING CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
Attach a recent keyboarding certification (dated within one year) to your application that verifies your keyboarding speed of 40 wpm or higher (net).

post-secondary institution reports the other institution as one whose transcript is given full value, or full value is given in subject areas applicable to the curricula at the post-secondary institution.
It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
