This position is located at the SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (BHDD) - Office of Mental Health, Santee-Wateree Center for Mental Health, 134 West Church Street, Bishopville, S.C. 29010.
Under general supervision of the Lee County MHC Clinic Director, you will provide services to seriously emotionally disturbed children, adolescents, and their families in a school setting.
You will also provide training and consultation to school personnel on issues pertinent to the mental health of the students.
Responsibilities for the Counselor II:
Provide direct treatment services to emotionally disturbed children, adolescents, and their families, which may include, but is not limited to RPS, Family Support Services, Behavior Modification and other services that the staff member is credentialed to provide.
Services will be provided in a culturally sensitive manner.
