The Department of Corrections, State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Fayette is seeking a reliable Corrections Stock Clerk to assist with receiving, tracking, and distributing inventory throughout the facility’s warehouse, commissary, and laundry areas. Requirements

As a Corrections Stock Clerk, you will be responsible for the receipt, storage, distribution, and inventory control activities for a variety of stock items and supplies at SCI Fayette. This includes inventorying stock; purchasing supplies and materials; training and monitoring inmate workers; processing inmate commissary orders; preparing routine reports; and operating various equipment such as motor vehicles, fork lifts, and hand trucks. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
  • Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year of stockroom, warehouse, retail sales, or clerical experience or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

  • Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
