Job Description

Summary

Correctional Records Technician (CRT) - Position #'s TP92, SY16, & TQ36

Employee and Business Support Services Administration – Tolling Records Unit

Multiple Locations Statewide


This position is eligible to telework; Travel may be required for training or meetings.


The Employee and Business Support Services Administration has three (3) permanent, full-time Correctional Records Technician (CRT) openings available.

These positions are within the Tolling Records Unit, which are located at the Tacoma Community Justice Center in Tacoma, WA and/or the Vancouver Field Office in Vancouver, WA.

The work schedule for these positions are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Work hours are determined by unit needs and are at the discretion of the unit supervisor.

If you are currently working an alternate work schedule, please be aware that this position may not be able to honor that schedule. For questions, please contact the Human Resource Office.

Qualifications

In accordance with WFSE Section 2 Supplemental DOC Article 4.7 of the Washington Federation of State Employees (WFSE) 2025-2027 Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), this job opening is available to internal transfer candidates ONLY.

Employees who meet the following criteria may apply:

  • You are requesting a transfer under Section 2 Supplemental DOC Article 4.7 of the WFSE CBA.
  • You are a permanent DOC employee.
  • You currently hold permanent status in the job class being recruited for in this job posting.
  • You are currently in a position represented by WFSE.

Special Requirements/Conditions of Employment
  • Must be able to satisfactorily complete Tolling Unit competency test with at least 70% accuracy.
