This job is for a cook at a child development center on a military base in Alaska, where you'll prepare healthy meals for young children following strict food program guidelines.
It involves hands-on cooking tasks like chopping ingredients, grilling meats, and baking, while also helping plan menus and train other staff.
A good fit would be someone with basic kitchen experience who enjoys working in a team environment and is comfortable lifting items and communicating clearly.
This position is located at the Fort Greely Child Development Center (6wks-5yrs). Position is Mission and Weather Essential.
Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Child and Youth Services (CYS) Employee Childcare Fee: Available to MWR CYS Regular and FLEX (working a minimum of 15 hours) First Child: 100% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Second and Subsequent Child: At least 25% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees)
