GS-05: A bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees.
GS-07: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing knowledge of contract administration principles, policies, regulations, practices, or procedures.
Examples of specialized experience may include the following: 1) Assisting in decision making on contracting matters; 2) Aiding in modifying contracts that contain inadequate specification; 3) Participating in meetings to discuss acquisition requirements.
GS-09: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing knowledge of contract administration principles, policies, regulations, practices, or procedures.
Examples of specialized experience may include the following: 1) Assisting in decision making on contracting matters consistent with the organization's goals; 2) Aiding in initiating and modifying contracts that contain inadequate specification; 3) Participating in meetings to discuss acquisition requirements; 4) Monitoring contractor performance for potential problems/delays.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
