Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737

You will serve as a Contract Specialist in the NATEC of NV AIR TECHNICAL DATA AND ENGRG SVC.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: Analyzing contract type to determine sources and methods of solicitation for competitive and sole source acquisitions and conducting complex price and cost analysis to determine reasonableness of price to make recommendations for the award.
Directing a full range of procurement pre-award and post-awards functions to include drafting and issuing solicitations, negotiations, source selection, contract award, contract modifications, and contract closeout.
Monitoring contract performance, preparing modifications, and determining the necessary course of action to comply with terms while preparing new or revised instructions after monitoring current command procurement policies and contract performance.
Analyzing contractor's financial and technical approach to determine a reasonable price/cost for complex systems and impacts with changing operational or budgetary situations.
Coordinating with various offices (e.g., requirements office, accounting and legal offices, staffs of other agencies) to obtain supporting documentation to resolve conflicts (i.e., technical descriptions, elements of cost, legal matters, and performance problems).
