Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves managing contracts for buying supplies and services for the Navy's air systems command, including planning, negotiating, and overseeing deals to ensure everything runs smoothly.
You'll analyze and improve how the organization acquires goods and prepare detailed reports and documents to meet regulations.

You will serve as a CONTRACT SPECIALIST in the NAWCWD PROCUREMENT GROUP, PM RTOIL/R&D/NTWP/FACILITIES DEPT of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Developing, executing, and administrating contracts in support of a range of supplies and services; 2) Applying contract policy during the solicitation, negotiation, administration, and termination of contracts.
3) Experience performing duties such as; procuring supplies and services; 4) Writing, editing, and preparing internal memorandums, templates, and/or business decision related correspondence.
