The Responsibilities of the Compliance and Performance Analyst:

The Compliance and Performance Analyst drives organizational accountability by designing automated monitoring systems and implementing a robust tracking framework to measure program effectiveness and compliance. The Compliance and Performance Analyst serves as a strategic partner to both internal teams and external stakeholders, providing the technical and evaluative expertise necessary to drive continuous improvement and demonstrate measurable impact. This role will also support the Director of Research and Evaluation in the coordination of evaluations and research projects by managing timelines, working with contractors, and conducting supplemental analysis.

Knowledge of data collection, report writing, and technical documentation. Proficiency with quantitative research methods and inferential statistics. A demonstrated ability to adjust to evolving project requirements and shifting priorities. Effective communication and the willingness to collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, at least one statistical software, and a data visualization platform (preferably Power BI). Eagerness for learning new software applications and an aptitude for identifying and implementing process improvements. Reports to Director of Research and Evaluation. Must be self-motivated and capable of delivering high quality work with general
supervision.

DATA SYSTEM AUTOMATION AND QUALITY ASSURANCE: Build structured data collection forms, validation rules, and user control rules to ensure information is captured accurately at the point of entry and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

Develop automated scripts and workflows to replace manual compliance checks to ensure system configuration aligns with monitoring needs.

Establish a unified data dictionary and conduct regular audits to resolve duplicate records or formatting inconsistencies. Develop processes for monitoring use of the data system.

Create technical documentation ofall developed processes for reference.

MONITORING, PERFORMANCE METRICS, AND EVALUATION: Work with leadership to develop performance benchmarks relevant to programming and the agency's Strategic Plan.

Design and maintain data products for the Research and Evaluation, 4K, Local Partnership, and Finance teams to track compliance and performance trends.

Act as a coordinator for external evaluators, managing their data access, ensuring adherence to project timelines, and communicating updates to leadership.

Perform supplemental data cleaning and analysis, as needed.

STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT, TRAINING, AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE: Facilitate sessions with internal and external stakeholders to translate their monitoring and data needs into technical system requirements.

Develop and deliver compliance training and technical manuals to ensure staff and partners understand data standards and functionality.

Offer ongoing technical assistance and advisory support to help programs interpret data and implement corrective actions, when necessary.

Collaborate with members of the Research and Evaluation team to ensure the data collected aligns with needs of individual projects.

    • A bachelor's degree and relevant professional experience. A combination of education and /or experience may be considered on a year for year basis.
    Additional Requirements:
    • Position requires non-essential declaration.
    • Position may be required to report to work during emergency situations.

    Qualifications

    • A graduate-level degree in an analytic or computer science discipline preferred
