Summary

This job involves planning, coordinating, and running community events and activities at a military base in Kentucky to keep soldiers and families engaged.

Full Job Description

This position is located at Fort Campbell, KY, MWR Community Recreation Division. This position is eligible for the NAF benefits package and leave accrual.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": - Possess a minimum 1 year of experience in planning, coordinating, and executing programs/special events - Possess demonstrated experience in securing and/or completing contractual agreements - Possess demonstrated experience in supply & inventory management, and/or purchase orders **Applicants that meet the highly preferred criteria will be referred to management for consideration first.

  • Serves as advisor for assigned program areas in the function of planning, coordinating, and executing events. Coordinates with community partners, vendors, and local assets to enhance the overall event.
  • Serves as the primary planner for a variety of recurring special operations, events, and activities. Identifies potential problems and provides solutions when planning and executing an event.
  • Coordinates with outside activities as needed, and ensures modifications are incorporated into the plans. Monitors events through execution and provides after action report when required.
  • Participates in strategic planning initiatives and measures. Identifies problem areas and recommends corrective action as appropriate.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
