Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).

This is a new Communications Specialist role that will support the Executive’s Office, Human Resources, and Finance.
You’ll work closely with the County Executive and other senior county leadership as a trusted partner in keeping employees and the public informed about key county initiatives.
Your communication skills will help people clearly understand what’s happening across the organization through timely, transparent, and well-crafted messaging.
You will collaborate with Finance on budget and process communications, support Human Resources on organizational priorities, lead internal communication, and work alongside the Executive’s Office to support speechwriting, media relations, storytelling, and content creation.
You will partner with senior leaders to help employees understand processes or organizational changes, strengthen interdepartmental coordination, and support leadership in delivering effective public service.
