This paid internship involves helping improve communication systems and processes in a county IT department, such as documenting workflows, spotting issues, and suggesting better tools and ways to measure success.
It's a hands-on role where you'll work under supervision to support real IT projects that benefit the community.
A good fit would be a motivated student in IT or computer science who enjoys teamwork, learning quickly, and contributing ideas in a flexible, part-time setup around school.
The in-person student internship position is based in Riverside County and offers a flexible work week consisting of up to 30 hours per week, with flexibility granted around academic obligations. The selected candidate can anticipate the internship to be 8-10 weeks in length.
Minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average: 2.5 GPA required.
Proof of most current unofficial/official transcript with cumulative GPA must be provided at time of application as well as a resume.Education: Applicants must be currently enrolled/attending school at an accredited college or university in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program.
Areas of Study: Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar.
