Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job trains you to inspect boilers, pressure vessels, and related installations to ensure they meet safety laws and protect the public.
You'll work mostly from home with a flexible schedule, but must relocate to Montgomery or Bucks County within six months of certification.
It's ideal for someone with hands-on experience in machinery maintenance or repair who wants to advance into a safety-focused role in government.

The primary responsibility of this position is to conduct technical field inspections on boilers, unfired pressure vessels, liquefied petroleum gas installations, as well as flammable and combustible liquid installations.
These inspections are crucial in ensuring compliance with the State Boiler Law, the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Law, the Flammable and Combustible Liquid Law, and accepted national standards.
Following inspections, you will have the opportunity to assist the Inspector with preparing detailed reports of findings, conducting follow-up inspections, and investigating reported accidents.
