Summary

This job involves managing a commercial sponsorship program for the U.S.

Marine Corps, where you'll seek out business partners, negotiate deals to fund community events, and ensure everything follows military rules.

Full Job Description

Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team!

MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community.

We offer a team oriented environment comprised of military personnel, civilian employees, contractors and volunteers who keep the organization functioning smoothly and effectively.

Minimum of four (4) years of experience in integrated marketing, advertising, business development, or a related field.

Demonstrated ability to research and identify prospective partners, engage senior-level decision-makers, and negotiate complex sponsorship or advertising agreements aligned with brand objectives.

Proven experience using data-driven approaches, including ROI modeling and market analysis, to meet or exceed aggressive revenue targets.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop compelling pitch decks, sponsorship proposals, and multi-channel marketing strategies that enhance partner visibility.

Experience preparing comprehensive after-action reports that evaluate campaign performance, audience engagement, and return on investment.

Ability to interpret and apply Department of Defense and United States Marine Corps policies and directives to ensure all sponsorship agreements comply with legal and ethical standards.

Must be able to perform work in an office environment, including lifting of up to 20 pounds. Major Duties:

Positions at this level MUST have full contract authority including designated signature authority for the commercial sponsorship program.

Responsible for the total commercial sponsorship program including but not limited to the planning, organizing, contracting, administering, and monitoring of the commercial sponsorship programs.

Develops a diversified commercial sponsorship program. Solicits sponsorship through advertisements, letters, and personal contacts. Develops collateral materials in support of the solicitation.

Develops proposal packages and negotiates best terms for MCCS. Initiates contracts and ensures they are agreed to/signed by the appropriate person.

Drafts sponsorship agreements and coordinates staff actions with the appropriate agencies, such as legal counsel. Ensures the development and completion of evaluation/follow-up reports.

Develops training and education materials on event marketing and commercial sponsorship for MCCS departments. Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy.

Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise.

Adheres to safety regulations and standards.

Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor.

Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment. Performs other related duties as assigned.
